Fildu de Sus Locality is proud with a beautiful wooden church built in 1727. It is one of the most well conserved wooden churches from Sălaj County, seduces you with its beauty, suppleness, framing in landscape, silence around it, being far away from the driveway.

It is well known for the very sharpen tower, reaching 40 m, but few know that in the middle of XIX century after the modification works the church was enlarged. The tower has four little towers which mean that the village had at that time right to justice. The church has a stone foundation and covered with shingle. The painting was made in 1856 and it is well conserved, but the painter in unknown. The final repair was made in 1988-1999.
