Turea is a locality situated in Cluj county, with a population of 512 inhabitants.

Turea locality dates since 1299. In that time the locality was the property of Cluj-Mănăstur abbey and its inhabitants were farmers and they were occupied with animal raising. Later the certain income was assured by the surrounding hills by lime burning.
